add the finishing touches.

Created Just for You

Before the final assembly, you'll receive a preview of your collage to review and approve. I want you to absolutely love the way those treasured pieces come together.

Layered with Love

Once approved, each element is carefully adhered to a premium wood panel. When needed, I add subtle hand-painted details, playful touches, and layers of color to bring balance and harmony to the composition, always keeping your child's artwork as the star.

Beautifully Finished

Each collage is carefully sealed, with edges finished in decorative paper tape and hand-painted details for a beautifully cohesive look. Layers of glossy epoxy resin add depth, richness, and a luminous finish that makes every color shine.

Prefer to keep the originals?

Absolutely! You're welcome to send high-quality color photocopies of your child's artwork instead. That way, those precious originals stay safely with you while their creativity becomes something beautiful to display.

Commission & Deposit

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your custom collage commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to shipping or pickup. Shipping is calculated separately. Each piece is thoughtfully created just for you, making it a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Creation & Delivery

Each custom collage is thoughtfully handcrafted in my Connecticut studio. Because every piece is unique, creation times may vary depending on size, design, and current commissions.

Full Circle

I've had the joy of watching little artists create at Splat Art Studio. Their wild imaginations, colorful masterpieces, and wonderfully imperfect creations have always had a special place in my heart.

But my love for creating meaningful keepsakes actually began long before Splat.

Nearly 25 years ago, I was creating custom hockey memory boxes, bringing together little treasures and special moments into something families could hold on to.

Recently, a good friend asked if I could create a collage from her children's artwork. That one conversation brought back a creative passion I hadn't explored in years.

And just like that, everything came full circle.

I began digging through my own children's artwork, rediscovering drawings, paintings, and little masterpieces I'd tucked away over the years. Each one brought back a memory, a smile, a moment in time.

And I thought, why should all this beautiful creativity stay hidden away

in boxes?

So here I am, bringing together two things I've always loved: celebrating children's creativity and creating meaningful art that lasts.

Because children's artwork is so much more than paper and paint.

It's a little piece of who they were.
