FROM TEACHING... TO PAINTING... TO WHAT'S NEXT

For 20 years, I had the privilege of welcoming hundreds of children and adults into Splat Art Studio. Together, we painted, celebrated milestones, embraced imperfections, and discovered that creativity has a beautiful way of bringing people together.

Those years shaped me in ways I could have never imagined.

As I encouraged others to create fearlessly, I found myself falling more deeply in love with painting. What began as demonstrations and playful experiments slowly became a creative calling of my own.

Today, my days are spent creating original abstract artwork filled with expressive color, beautiful layers, unexpected details, and stories woven into every canvas. Painting has become my way of celebrating joy, honoring life's imperfections, and sharing love in the language I know best.

And in the most wonderful full-circle moment, I've found a new way to celebrate the little artists who inspired so much of my journey. Through my Custom Kids' Art Collages, I'm transforming treasured childhood artwork into colorful, one-of-a-kind keepsakes, preserving those precious memories in a way families can enjoy every day.

But my love of teaching hasn't gone anywhere.

While I'm taking a little pause from online classes, I look forward to sharing creative experiences again in the future. Because after all these years, I still believe that everyone has a little artist inside them, just waiting for the joy of creating.

Whether you're here to find an original painting that speaks to your heart, explore a meaningful custom creation, or simply follow along as this colorful journey continues, I'm so grateful you're here.

Thank you for being part of my story, for believing in my dreams, and for allowing me to keep growing, creating, and sharing what I love.

Here's to all the beautiful things still waiting to unfold.

With love and a whole lot of color,

xo,
Kate
