FROM TEACHING... TO PAINTING... TO BUILDING A COMMUNITY

For nearly 20 years, I had the privilege of welcoming hundreds of children and adults into Splat Art Studio. Together we painted, celebrated milestones, embraced imperfections, and discovered that creativity has a beautiful way of bringing people together.

​

Those years shaped me in ways I could have never imagined.

​

As I encouraged others to create fearlessly, I found myself falling more deeply in love with painting. What began as demonstrations and playful experiments slowly became a calling of my own.

​

Today, my days are spent creating original abstract artwork filled with bold color, layered texture, and stories woven into every canvas. Painting has become my way of celebrating joy, honoring life's imperfections, and sharing love in the language I know best.

​

But this isn't the end of my teaching story.

It's a new beginning.

​

Through Splat Art Club, I'm once again inviting people into my studio, only now our studio has no walls.

​

From kitchen tables in Connecticut to cozy corners in Texas and beyond, we're creating together from wherever life calls home. Every class, every painting, and every member reminds me that creativity doesn't need four walls to build community.
