MY ART JOURNEY: FROM TEACHING TO CREATING

For 19 incredible years, I poured my heart into teaching art. Splat was more than a studio—it was a movement of creativity, laughter, and color that touched hundreds of families. We didn’t just make art, we built memories, confidence, and community.

But along the way, something undeniable happened. While guiding others, I uncovered my own deeper calling: painting. What began as demonstrations and playful experiments has grown into a fierce passion that I can no longer ignore.

Now, my canvas is my classroom. Every brushstroke carries the same joy I once saw light up in my students’ eyes. Every layer is infused with years of learning, teaching, and showing up for creativity in all its forms.

This is not a goodbye—it’s an evolution. I’m stepping fully into my role as an artist, chasing bold color, fearless texture, and stories that can only be told through paint. And I want to bring you with me.
