ART CLASS POLICIES & PRODECURES

PICK UP + DROP-OFF:

Please arrive promptly for class, but no earlier than five minutes before the start time. If you arrive early, please wait outside with your student, and enter the classroom when invited by the teacher. All students must be checked in and out by a parent or guardian. The teacher must be notified of any other arrangements. When picking up, parents are asked to wait for students outside of the studio, as our space is limited. Please pick up your child promptly at the end of class.

STUDENT AND PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT:

To ensure the best opportunity for each student to receive the greatest art education benefits, we expect all students at Splat Art Studio to be respectful, cooperative and excited to learn! Offensive language or behavior will not be tolerated. Cell phones encouraged to be turned off.


ATTENDANCE:

For the best arts education results, regular class attendance is important. We do not prorate, refund or credit forward for classes unattended. Please email or text if your child will be absent. A make up class will rescheduled for a another day classes are held. If you know your child will miss several classes, you might like to wait and sign up for a different semester when it fits better in your schedule. Missed classes must be made up during session enrolled. Missed classes do not roll into new session. Missed classes must be made up during session enrolled.

SAFETY MEASURES:

Hand sanitizer stations

Maximum of 15 artists per class

Tables, chairs and paintbrushes disinfected between artists

Masks are not required


INCLEMENT WEATHER:

We will generally adhere to the Wallingford Public School System schedule in the event of inclement weather. Check our website home page for announcements. If the studio is closed due to weather, we will notify you of make-up classes. If school is delayed, the studio will hold classes at its regular time; however, please contact the studio if it is not possible for your child to attend. Please check our website for updates, or call the studio at 203-889-6236 for special announcements. If we have a delay start time or closing, we will email you, text as well as post on our website. 


HOW TO REDEEM GIFT CERTIFICATES:

Please email us at splatartstudio@live.com with the class, camp or workshop you would like to apply your gift certificate to tuition. We will enroll your child and email price difference. Balance can be paid with cash or check. Thank you!
