Frequently asked questions
We need a registration form and payment to confirm your child's enrollment. This helps us to organize effectively and order supplies.
Art is messy! You can assume that every time your child comes to Splat, they will leave with paint on their clothes. Please dress them appropriately. Splat provides a rare opportunity for your child to be as messy as they want...take advantage of it! We provide smocks but they don't always help.
For our camps & classes that are full, register your child and we will place the form in order of space of receipt. You will be notified as soon as the space becomes available. If space is not available, deposits will be refunded.
If you need to cancel a class, please notify Splat Art Studio at least two weeks prior to the first day of class for a refund. If the class is canceled with less than a two weeks notice, a studio credit will be issued that can be used for future classes. A $5 administrative fee will be charged for all class cancellations.
There are no refunds for missed classes. You are welcome to attend another class offered during the week. It is up to you to rechedule the make up.
- No Shows? You are expected to pay for class or camp if you do not show up. If you call ahead 48 hours prior to class/camp and we are able to fill the spot, you do not have to pay, otherwise no shows still have to pay. Because we plan ahead with art supplies & projects it makes it difficult to return art supplies. Please be courteous and let us know if your change of plans.
No. We do not use any type of aerosol sprays inside the building and only non-toxic glue. We do not use any paint that requires paint thinner.
The best space to park is straight after the stop sign- NOT to the left next to Subway. Traffic goes in and out for the drive thru. You are better off in the back- there is plenty of parking.
To the left side of the back of the building is a ramp that leads right to the front porch. The kids love running up the ramp and less worries for moms about the traffic on Rt 5.
- Can I stay with my child? Our job is to create a warm and stressfree enviornment for artist to feel comfortable and create without judgement. From experience, when the parents stay, the artist is less likely to create for him/herself rather for the parent. This is why we do not allow any parents to stay during class time.
